You may be wondering why the analytics studio Archetix is teaming up with Prvákoviny ZČU, the conference for students starting their first year at the University of West Bohemia. It is quite simple. Prvákoviny ZČU is an event run this year, for the tenth time, by the student non-profit organisation AIESEC. All of the founding fathers of Archetix have in turn held various positions in it, and Marek Čech in particular stood at the birth of the project ten years ago(!). In that time more than 1,000 students have gone through the event as participants or organisers, and the event more or less influenced their lives or directed their future efforts at university, as it did for Jirka and Michal of Archetix and for many of our other colleagues and friends.
Why Support Non-Profit Projects and Organisations?
We believe that projects like these by student or non-profit organisations are worth supporting, and that is why we have long acted as mentors, consultants and “camp leaders” of the individual groups of students right at the event. As for help from our field, we consult on the marketing of the event, and run the web analytics and the Smartlook tool for optimising the project’s web presentation. This year we also have the honour of being a proud partner of the relaxation zone, without which the event would certainly not do. We are really looking forward to that!
According to an analysis of our activity in 2018 / 2019, we found that we devote up to 25% of our time to non-profit or student projects and organisations. We thus try to develop the community around us and indirectly support the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals agenda.
What Exactly Do Support and Cooperation Involve?
To selected non-profit organisations that lack the resources for quality services of a marketing consultant and web analyst, we offer a 100% discount on our services, because we do not want them to head into the marketing jungle and fall for marketing crooks who will offer them websites for CZK 2,000 or CZK 500,000, an increase of everything by hundreds of percent, sell them the first position in a search engine or advertising campaigns with a 50% conversion rate, and so deprive them of valuable funds that they could use better on their target groups. We advise them on creating and building marketing activities that make sense, reach the right people and help the long-term development of the organisation’s activities, we look after their web and digital analytics tools, or we help with our physical presence and manual help at some of the organisation’s events, such as Prvákoviny.
If needed, we organise training for internal teams and their partners for our partner organisations. We have a special relationship with AIESEC – as proud alumni (former members) of this international student organisation, which carries out foreign internships and cultural projects, communicates the agenda of the Global Sustainable Development Goals and so looks after developing the potential of young people and our future, we help with developing work with leads and with the organisation’s content marketing in general, regularly take part in the organisation’s internal conferences and also help develop people through workshops; at the beginning of the year we already trained the Pilsen and Ostrava branches in building meaningful marketing.
And there are many other similar bodies we cooperate with, but more about those some other time. At the same time we also devote our time to developing tools that help the whole marketing community.
Get in Touch, Too
Are you part of, or do you know of, a non-profit organisation that subscribes to the sustainable development goals? Would it help you to think through your marketing, set marketing hypotheses, consult on an online strategy and the structure of an advertising account, or get help setting up a marketing tool? Let us know at [email protected]. Every month we try to support projects like yours. Perhaps we will find common ground, just as we did with the representatives of AIESEC and the Prvákoviny ZČU project.
