Web Analytics, Smartlook & Marketing
At Archetix I belong to the implementation section. I mainly help Marek with the implementation of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the data layer, but lately I’ve also been working on my clients. Apart from the above, I am completely responsible for Smartlook – from implementations to recommendations on how to optimize the website or applications.
Thanks to what I do, we have a foundation for subsequent data work. One could say that without my work, there would be nothing. ?
With Smartlook, we then uncover weaknesses in digital projects and suggest improvements to the website to make processes more efficient and ultimately save time and money.
Favourite tools and services
I like what I use on a daily basis – specifically Google Analytics, GA4, Smartlook, Google Tag Manager and Caflou. Caflou in particular suits me the most out of all the tools of this type. Every now and then I also create some basic charts and spreadsheets in Google Data Studio.
How did it all begin?
It’s nice that the boys are not particular about any special schooling. I have a general high school degree and have tried two semesters in two different economics majors. So basically everything and nothing. ?
During my study attempts, I got into the student organization AIESEC, where I worked from 2017 to 2020. All my activities there were related to marketing – among other things, event management, basic campaign creation, analysis of results… These activities awakened my interest in data. And it was from AIESEC that the guys recruited me directly to Archetix, where I was properly educated.
I also had a short experience as an accountant in a marketing agency and during my studies I tried a few jobs from customer communication to more technical things, but I found myself in marketing.
Before covid, during my studies, I used to travel occasionally, mainly low-cost. But judging by the scratch map hanging in my office, I have plenty of opportunities to travel. I’d like to see the nearby neighboring countries in particular, and my big dream is to travel around the US.
Hobbies and interests outside work
I have to say, I’m a rather “lazy idler”. ? I used to play badminton, ping pong and tried some martial arts. All of these activities I then eventually traded in for cycling, rollerblading and other activities that weren’t limited by having to go somewhere regularly. Lately, I’ve been flirting with fitness, but we’re not really good friends yet – we’re just getting to know each other.
Netflix and games are what keep me most busy at the moment – on the computer it’s mostly story games at the moment, and board games are an essential part of it, which we often play as a team.
